I hear there as some crazy old buggers up north who, as soon as there is ice and snow on the ground will go out and jump into the lake mostly naked. They call themselves the polar bear club. You need to get this kid an honorary membership!
It just snowed again here last night... I bet we would be sweating in Florida's winter! Don't know why we ever felt cold at 10C in Egypt's winter... ;-)
