I think it is very important for every kitteh to be well read. How else can we live up to the standard of "smarty cat"? I have many good books, one of my favorites is THE TOOTH BOOK by Dr. Seuss. Another favorite book was written and illustrated by Karl, of The Cat Realm and he sent a copy to me. It is a book loaded with helpful hints for kittehs (sort of an Erma Bombeck for four-footed furry ones) -- such as "keep your teeth clean: chew your bones". I always kind of wondered if Karl had me in mind for that particular hint! And like our human companions, I like to keep some reading material in that special "reading room" I refer to as my "litter library". I'm sure you have a litter-library in your house... you do, don't you?

Mom reads a book every night. Well, she reads part of a book every night!
I have got to get my mom to change my litter box into a "litter library."

We want a litter library too. Hmm, that probably means mum would have to put books in the greenhouse. Not that we poop in the greenhouse of course.
We like your choice of reading material very much! And the name "litter library", what a great idea, that's what our room is, because it is where the bookshelf and our boxes are. Momma and Daddy have that special library place too ... hee hee!

Great picture! And our mom wants to know how come you don't kick litter all over the place like we do (she has to sweep about 10 times a day - literally!)
I think I need to get some good reading material for the amount of time I've spent in the litter box lately.

How wonderful! Our maid reads A LOT too - so maybe we should have our own litter library also! I love that concept!

One Fish! Two Fish! Red fish! Blue fish! We love Mom to read Dr. Seuss to us, but now we want her to read to us when we use our litterbox!! Cool idea! We have lots of Books, too!

My bean Lily reads to us almost every night. Right now she's reading us some book in French; she says she doesn't understand all of it - she only got done with French II - but her teacher said she needs to work on her accent, so she is. Diligently.
If I could only figure out what she was saying...
But there's no way I could ever read books in a litter library. Cassie says I'm not smart enough to read. Lily always glares at her and covers my ears after she says that, but it's okay. I have other qualities, I think.
We like to read the Cat Who books. At least one human understands how intelligent we felines are.
Buddy: And canines too. We're smart too.
We have photos and poster close to our litter box, but no reading stuff. And we have Karl and Anastasia's books, too, but it it's not near our litter room.
"Staff, we NEED a litter library, too!!"
