SURFIN' SAFARI GIVEAWAY

Hey Maggy ~ it's fun to go surfin', isn't it?

Zoey, we are not surfing. And before you say safari,

we're not on one of those either.
But we're supposed to do that for Baby Patches Summer Giveaway.

Well, the human says the waves at Cocoa Beach aren't

big enough for surfing, and she's tired of taking us on safari,

so riding air boats in the St Johns wetlands will have to do!

I am 3 years ~ 1 month ~ 29 days old, and the Zoolatry Human says that means I am still a toddler. She also says I am the "forever kitten", a little like Peter Pan, one who will never grow up. You probably know that Maggy and I do not really get along. Most of the time Maggy just ignores me, the rest of the time she chases me, or hisses at me, or steals my treats or whaps me. So my Mom said that all things considered, it would be OK for me to have an imaginary friend. Please meet my friend ~ her name is ZOZZY ~ we're a lot alike don't you think?

THANKFUL THURSDAY - We Are Thankful For All Of You

Y OK, OK ~ it was a brief sab-catical, but the Zoolatry Girls wouldn't leave me alone. So, like a bad penny that keeps turning up ~ we're back, at least for awhile ~ until the feet go air-up, and head goes sand-down once again.

Y It came to our attention that this week, or one day this week was apparently our Second Blogoversary, an event that was lost on the Zoolatry Human, though some kind kitteh from the Cat Blogosphere remembered.

Y No special parties, no shrimp or nip, no balloons or music ~ nothing was planned for a celebration.

Y Thinking it over these past few days, we realized we wouldn't be here without YOU ~ each and every one of you over the past two years have brought us smiles and laughter, friendship, caring and thoughtfulness and fun. There would be no Zoolatry without YOU.

Y So to celebrate the past two years, and to honor YOU ~ we offer each and every one of you our Shining Star Award. You are our shining stars ~ and we Thank You! Maggy and Zoey, and The Zoolatry Human, Ann.

Look Maggy, the Zoolatry Human's gone off and stuck her

head in the sand again.

Yes, Zoey, you know what that means.

It means she's taking a sabcatical.

Zoey, I think you meant to say a sabbatical.

Maggy, I'll call it what I want, all I know is it

means we won't be cat-blogging for awhile.

Right, ZoZo... she needs to clear her head,

you silly floofer.

But Maggy, how can she clear her head,

when her head is upside down? I think it'd

fill up with sand 'n stuff when it's upside down.

Well, Zo, like many humans, ours can be a bit odd.

Maggy, will we get to come back and see our friends soon?

WORDY WEDNESDAY, MORE ON BOXES

Hi, Zoey here ~ I felt it was my duty and responsibility to "check out" all the boxes, you know, get them ready for the big day ~ this Friday. Maggy's not bothering to help me at all, sometimes she acts more like a "husband" than a "sisfur". (apawlogies to husbands who are helpers, if there are any of you out there...) Anyway, I digress. In checking all the boxes I found one had some jinglie-balls (no doubt left by Hansel), and an old fevver; and OMC - a mouse! A rather wet and mangled up mouse actually (perhaps Maggy was messing with these boxes after all?). And another box, had a very strange critter in it, I must seek advice and counsel from the Zoolatry Human to help me decide what to do about this alarming situation...

That's right, an entire room in her house is just filled top to bottom, side to side with boxes! Aren't we all quite envious...
