VACATION Flowers, by Zoey

I almost never, never, ever get to be part of Thursdays in the Garden with Jonesie,
cause if anything, the ZH has a brown thumb, really-really brown!
But while on vacation, we went to the U.S. Botanic Garden on the mall in DC.
What a beautiful display of poinsettia they had for the holidays, and other
rooms just overflowing with plants and flowers.  Our favorites were all the
amazing orchids shown above ... each more exotic and breathtaking that the last.

  5. Beautiful! Our human has brown thumbs, too. The original owner of this house had a beautiful garden and the had peep has managed to kill off pretty much all of it, though she blames cold winters for it.

The best part about visiting botanic gardens like that is that you don't have to put in the work to get the amazing flowers. :)
