C'mon, Dougie. Time to come in.
Just 5 more minutes, please! I've hardly had any playtime at all!
[You know, that's what I hear the grand boy say all the time.
It doesn't matter if he's reading, or doing Lego's, or even playing in the tub ...
it's always "just 5 more minutes, please!"
And it seems to work well for him, so I thought I'd give it a try.]

Please, just 5 more minutes!
O.K. But only 5 ...
Love it! We have a 3 yr old at home who uses the number six a lot. Just six more minutes please! I don't need a nap - he says. I, for one, could nap all day - WOOF!
ReplyDeleteHey!! Great idea! We need to try that!

Dougie, Wow you have a nice big yard.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's hot do you get to sleep outside?
5 more minutes isn't long enough to find your ball
and sniff everything.

ReplyDeleteDougie...maybe if you're lucky you can stretch into 10.
ReplyDeleteSounds just like me! This morning it was, "just give me five more minutes to bark and scratch at the drain pipe with the chipmunk in it. I'm sure he'll come out and play any minute now!"
ReplyDeleteDougie, you are a smart goggie!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it works here, sometimes Mom means business. We bet you are loving that yard!!!
