FASHION FRIDAY

I feel like wearing hot pink today.

I just don't know how much is too much.

13 THINGS I am not supposed to do, because when I do these 13 THINGS, they say I am a "Bad Kitty"

1. Zoey, do not get on the kitchen counter. But sometimes there's a dinner plate here with a nice little treat left on it...

2. Zoey, stay off the dining room table. But it is so tempting when you toss a pile of warm laundry there...

3. Zoey, stay out of the shower please. But I like the warm water spray...

4. Zoey, get away from the paper shredder. But you know I have a paper fetish, and the shredded paper is the very best...

5. Zoey, put your toys away, the human keeps tripping over them. But if I put my toys away, I'll only have to get them out again...

6. Zoey, stop whapping Maggy. But Maggy is so wonderfully whappable, especially if I can catch her by surprise ...

7. Zoey, get out of the cotton balls and q-tips. But they're good for cleaning my ears and my toehawks...

8. Zoey, leave that wastebasket alone. But when I tip it over some amazing things will come out of it...

9. Zoey, get away from the kitty treats. But I know just where they are. OK, I'll wait till the humans are in bed for this one...

10. Zoey, move away from the front door, I'm going out. But if I get close enough and try hard enough I might be able to sneak out into the yard...

11. Zoey, get out from under the coffee table. But this is where I like to hide and play bite-the-toes when someone sits down to watch TV...

12. Zoey, leave Great Grandma's oxygen tubing alone. But it moves here and there and it wiggles around, and it is the most fun to play with...

13. Zoey... Zoey! Well, guess what? There is no #13... cause most of the time I am a really really really really Good Kitty!

MUSIC ON A MONDAY

On the weekend the Zoolatry Humans went to a concert performed by over a hundred elementary school children from throughout Seminole County. Their little grandgirl bean was in the concert. They enjoyed it, and all the children did very, very well. It was quite a lively show.

We have been told that education is a blending of the "3 A's" ~ academics, athletics and arts. Each in it's own way completes us and leads us toward a more successful and enjoyable life.

Unfortunately, right now, throughout Florida and all of the U.S., an economic crisis is threatening education. From kindergarten through college, there are drastic cuts proposed for education funding. Whether a parent or grandparent, an aunt, a cousin, a neighbor, a friend ~ we all owe our children a good education. Write to your state legislators and ask them to preserve educational funding.

THANKFUL THURSDAY

Yes, I know just a day or two ago I said I wasn't going to allow myself to appear on this blog anytime soon... but the Zoolatry Human tells me it is proper etiquette and the polite thing to do and good manners, and all that... to say thank you. So I want to say THANK YOU to the wonderful Mom Miss Peggy from Peggy's Place cause she sent me this beautiful, warm and cozy blankie and I love it! It is an extra special gift because she made it herself.
And I want to say THANK YOU to Babe & Bob, to Isis & Jeannie, and to Romeo & Summer, all the cute kitties that live at Peggy's Place... cause they sent me this really awesome blankie and I love the dark blue cause it matches my eyes! And they also gave us some fun mousie toys to play with and catnippy-candy. Thanks guys & girls!

WORDY WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE 2009

Last year we had lots of fun with the Wordy Wednesday Challenge, so we're doing it again! The rules are very simple if you'd like to play along and take the challenge with us.

(2) Email us your "word" and a picture*** that will go with it, and include a link to your blog please.

(3) Maggy, the Minister of Arts, will put words and pictures together for one and all, and they'll be emailed back to you.

(4) April 1 - April Fools Day by coincidence, is a Wednesday... and we'll all post our own pictures for the WW Challenge on that day!

TOEHAWKZ TOESIES

OK, OK everybody: am I not mortified? Beyond belief embarrassed here. Please, the lack of modesty and dignity overwhelms me. The Zoolatry Human is always oohing-and-aahing over Tuesday Toes and Tuesday Tails and Wednesday Whiskers and all those other 'body parts pictures' that CB-ers with good cameras and cooperative cats post on their blogs! Why can't I get pictures like that? she moans. Well, you see... she shakes the camera for one thing, and her vision is not too good for the second thing, and the third thing is... I am NOT cooperative, and do NOT ever plan on being cooperative. So there! So, she made my Dad grab me (more indignities) and hold me up in this dreadful pose, just so she could get a picture of my toes! My toes, for cats sake, who cares about my toes? Well, she says, they have so many pretty colors, and they have such sweet long tufts of fur, and the little pads are like velvet... And if that wasn't enough: now you get a good look at my pantaloons, too! Believe me, I won't be back on this blog anytime soon!

table tops and ledges, too! And you don't have to buy the
'refill box of 5' at the supermarket. But then again,
since mine got poofed, maybe she will have to buy refills.

FINALLY FRIDAY

It's "Finally Friday" and it's warmed up enough here in Florida that I can go to the beach again! My advice to beach-goers is to take a beach ball and of course, for safety, a life ring. Naturally, I liberally apply my Cat Sunscreen. It's SPF-50, and in case you didn't know ~ that stands for Save Pretty Furs and I have very light and very pretty furs. One thing I do not necessarily advise taking to the beach is one of those small grand-boy-beans ... below is what can happen...
