DOWN ON THE FARM ~ CRITTERS and ART

DOWN ON THE FARM

The montage of four farm animals (bottom picture),
originally done for Caturday Art, dates back to 2017 and 2018.

At that time, I'd often join my then young grandboy visiting farms in
the Maryland suburbs, and of course, photograph the animals seen there.

The silhouetted cow and goat (top picture) is a new one, along with
the fencing and decorative text, just as an "add on" for todays post.

We just borrowed Mr. Moo and the Goat Guy (he got flipped) and
put them side by side ... hoping they'd get along okay!

SATURDAY'S CRITTERS

CATURDAY ART

It seems adorable MINEY the pup over at Saturday's Critters has his 1st birthday today ...

and to make this day even more special, MARIE at Caturday Art is also having her birthday.

So, please be sure to visit both these blog hops!

  4. Such pawsome (and hoof-some) memories of farm critters. When you live in a busy city, it's always fun to see farms and learn from where our food comes-a valuable lesson for little kids especially.

  9. Chaplin: "Dennis told us that our Dada's cousin—"
Charlee: "The one who is responsible for inflicting Oona on us."
Oona: "Oona thinks you meant to say 'bestowing'."
Chaplin: "—once stopped by with baby goats who spent the afternoon bounding around the yard. Apparently Dennis couldn't decide if they were fascinating or terrifying."
Charlee: "Knowing Dennis, he probably settled on 'terrifying'."

  12. Beautiful art, and sweet memories of your time with Arjun. Too bad the little ones all have to grow up. Mom is sad that she will now have four of the grands off to college and two more almost out of high school. Time flies much too fast.
