So, why not share once-the-baby-kitten-June?
Born March 2020, the early days of the pandemic.
Born March 2020, the early days of the pandemic.
Adopted October, 2020, pandemic well established.
I had just moved, new apartment in Baltimore. The two of us would share life,
quietly together, somewhat isolated, for months to come.
She was a shy little one, and that never changed.
I had just moved, new apartment in Baltimore. The two of us would share life,
quietly together, somewhat isolated, for months to come.
She was a shy little one, and that never changed.
She was born into the "Chowder Clowder", and named Chowder.
With a special nod to dear friends
who, to this day, love to call her [it's allowed, smiling] Chowder!
Though we did choose to name her June, for special reasons.
The image below also shows her three kitty siblings.
She settled well into her new home, enjoying the day bed
and soon "adopting" nearly all other spaces as her own.

You were the most adorable kitten and so are your brothers and sisters! Happy Kitten Day, Juney!
ReplyDeleteJune is my middle name and your "June" is the only other June that I've known other than the June I was named after - my dear sweet long-gone Aunt. Hugs to the Junes of the world......
ReplyDeleteLove, Pam
