If you happened to be here yesterday, you may have noticed mine Mommy and me
had a small disagreement about our respective beds. Well, about her bed.
My bed is my blankie basket. And according to June's House Rules,
what's hers is mine and what's mine is mine.
So, yesterday is yesterday ~
but here is what happening today, this very morning!
Why are all these blankies, and my polka dot blankie on the floor?
Why? Tossed so carelessly about on the floor?
Look! I am in an empty blankie basket!
I repeat. Am empty blankie basket!
While all the blankies are tossed willy-nilly on the floor!
Are you trying to get back at me for yesterday,
is this a get back game you're playing, one turn deserves another sorta thing,
the cat messes up your bed so you're gonna mess up hers?
Well, if that isn't the cat's pajamas!
(that's my little joke, get it, bed and pajamas)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
OK, OK, JUNE, go sit in your cat tree, chill out or soak up the sun, either way,
it's only time to launder your way-too-furry-just-a-bit-not-so-sweet-smelling blankies,
OK, OK?
oooh all your comfy things get a water boarding... what have they done? but maybe if they are fresh and fluffy again they bring much better dreams than before to you?
ReplyDeletewe too have a pet laundry day, ours are pillow cases, because of drool, once a week all pillows are stripped, and sheets that are on dog beds get washed. my dad would have a fit to know I am doing dog laundry
ReplyDeleteMmm, forget the drool thing, tho not so much with kitties as with puppers (think I drool more than June does, it's an old lady thing ... ha, ha!)
DeleteJune, it's hard to go without our special blankies. When they go in the washing machine we have to wait hours before they come back. And all the noise that it makes when it happens at least inside of our house. Hope they're dry by now. Precious
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJune, well, that isn't the best way to start your day! And now you'll have to work extra hard to fur up your blankets again. You'd better get an extra ration or two just to keep your strength up!
ReplyDeleteJune, you poor girlie... you are cracking me up! Your Mommy clicks some beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe never understand why our mom has to wash our bedding either. It was just fine like it is and but now we'll have to re-smell-ify our beds so we know it's ours. Phooey.
ReplyDeleteYour fur-iends,
Elsa & Wilson 🐾
Yep June,
ReplyDeleteOur kitty blanket is also in the Miele dryer for de–furring and then washing it inside the Miele washer and dryer.
It will smell so good for snuggling...
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
How rude of your mommy to dump your blankie basket but once everything is washed and neatly folded and put back where it belongs, you will love your nice soft clean smelling blankie basket once again, Juney!
ReplyDeleteIt's her way of paying you back for yesterday. You know you like a clean bed though. I think you need to give your mom a pass on this one.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to June. ♥
Just be patient, June. When your blankies come back they will be all warm and soft from their cleaning.
ReplyDeleteLol~ June you are a little 'scamp' ~ sweet photos though ~ Good Luck, Mom ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

We solve the problem but just having one giant bed for both the humans and cats. And yes, the blankets are often quite messy 😹
ReplyDeleteDon't worry June, you will soon get your blankies back ready to be furred up again.
ReplyDeleteWe totally understand Junie...Our Mama does the same thing with our "couch blankies".
ReplyDeleteSo rude!!!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
That basket looks pretty darn comfy sweet June!
ReplyDeleteMOL MOL June revenge is sweet and EVIDENTLY not soft or warm.
ReplyDeleteI bet by the time you read this everything that was upside down is now right side up.
OMCs 'gators like Bananas that was a surprise of course the 'gator probably didn't even taste it swallowed it whole
Hugs Cecilia
Oh June...the trials of living with a being that has thumbs.
ReplyDeleteJune, you and Mommy sure are having fun with each other. What will you do next???
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
Don't worry, the maid, I mean your mom is just washing them for you. XO
ReplyDeleteYep, we got your blankie joke, BOL! And we had already guessed your perfectly good blankies were about to go into the washer. XOX Xena and my pack
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a legit reason, June!
ReplyDeleteI am sure you think of a way to get revenge
ReplyDeleteOoh, that basket does look pretty cozy, Juney!
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "AYBABTU!"
ReplyDeleteLulu: "What?"
Chaplin: "All Your Beds Are Belong To Us."
Lulu: "Oh, of course."
Wash day is always a disruption.
