I'm happy.
Mine Mommy not so much.
I'm happy 'cause I love to curl up in the messy un-made bed blankets.
I'm of a mind to stay here all day long.
She's not happy 'cause she'd rather make up the bed like right away.
I'm happy 'cause I got here first and I'm not going anywhere.
She's not happy 'cause she can't do a thing about it!
I mean, think about it human peoples.
Is it really all that sensible that you make up the bed and
a few hours later you un-make it and then you repeat that ritual
all over again after another few hours go by and of course
you do it again ... and again ... and ...
Have I made my point?
It's like me bothering to put my toys back into my toy box when I know
I'm only going to take them out again when it's time to play with them
so why not leave them all scattered on the floor in the first place?
Once upon a time, mine Mommy read me a book about a very famous
human peoples named Albert Einstein and he once upon a time said
something about "doing the same thing over and over again"
and right now I'm thinking that applies to mine Mommy.
Oh well, have a
I am.
mr,. einstein was a very wise man... he knew so much about the universe and about people...
ReplyDeleteWe all have to get up and leave every morning when Mom says it is time to make the bed. She says something about the proper way to get the day started with order is to make your bed. Supposedly it makes humans feel better all day long. Then at bedtime we all crawl back in and get cozy. We are not allowed in bed during the day. We snooze in our office beds or on the floor if we are Nelson.
ReplyDeleteDearest Ann,
ReplyDeleteHaha, agree 100% with June and since I need to take my two–hour naps due to my CKD stage V, I'm more inclined to listen to my kitties...
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
June, you take me back a 1000 years when I had to pick up my toys before bedtime every day. Just to get them out again and play!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about picking up our toys, Juney! My mom picks them up all the time and I get them right back out. I like the messy look!
ReplyDeleteJune, I think you've got a point there...
ReplyDeleteJune, I am like living with someone in the movie, Groundhog Day. I do everything by routine and bed making is
ReplyDeletethe first thing I do after I potty. he he... has mama thought about simply scooping you out of bed and putting in the pokadot chair? haha, kidding. I know you RULE
You have a point. Our babies do the same thing and we wait. We are not in control, you are.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to June. ♥
We humans don't always make great sense ~ yet again ~ life is 'wash ~ rinse ~ repeat ' ~ lol

June the rule in our house was NO matter where Madi was or what needed to be done there. We did not move her.
ReplyDeleteShe ruled and we were ok with that!!
hugs Cecilia
Well June, you definitely have a point there! And you look adorable making your point!
ReplyDeleteBOL...Our Mama is thinking you might have a point Junie....
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
juney chowder knot onlee iz ewe gorgeouz…ewe iz wize…kinda like why put “sum” kibble in de bowl
ReplyDeleteonlee ta re fill de bowl hourz later….just dump de hole 18 pound bag on de floor and call it a day ๐บ‼️๐๐งก๐๐ค
oh June you sooooooooo made me LOL!!! You are 100 percent right!! Plus......as you said "you got there first!" Squatters rights!
ReplyDeleteWell….I try to make my bed every day….mostly because the collies sleep on it while I am at work and I’d rather not have them in my sheets! Lol
ReplyDeleteWe wonder about those same things, June. Mom is always smoothing out the blanket on Timber's bed. And he can't get her to understand that he prefers all messed up:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
We usually have a bed full here sweet June but once I pop a can they all head to the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteYou look like you have no worries. XO
ReplyDeleteYou're such a smart girl, June! People are so silly. I hope you stayed there all day!
ReplyDeleteSweet girl, you pick up your toys because the floor needs to be cleaned and you don't need your mommy tripping on them and getting hurt.
ReplyDeleteWe make the bed because it is the largest and most beautiful piece of furniture in our home when it is made, and nothing in the world is more comforting at the end of a hard day than climbing into a nicely made, pretty bed.
June honey, I'm sorry, but I'm with your Mom on this one. I can't stand trying to sleep in a messy bed where you pull the covers up and then your feet aren't covered, etc. Lucy's used to having to get out of the bed for a while in the morning while I make it. I don't like eating at a messy table or working in a messy kitchen. My house is often not clean (3 shedding dogs) but it's usually not too messy. Xena's Mom (Xena's the only dog here that doesn't shed!)
ReplyDeleteOur peeps do the same thing...and to think, why those doors to the bedroom are closed and no one can even see them since they are upstairs!
ReplyDeleteGiggle...that's one way to look at it! ๐ป
ReplyDeleteJune, you are a wise kitty, and what you say makes so much sense!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Beds were made to be scrunched up upon.
ReplyDeleteYour mommy can't do it, but I used to open the back door and say, "Who wants to go out, boys?" and there would be a mad rush to the door leaving me in peace for bed making and other housework before I took them on their walks around the fields.
ReplyDeleteYou could do what we do sometimes, June. After the bed is made up one of us sneaks up there and messes it all up again. BOL!
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, Mama and Dada keep an assortment of fuzzy blankets on their bed for us animals to use! The theory is that then we will get the blankets muddy and dirty instead of the sheets."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "And how does that work out?"
Java Bean: "Well, the blankets do get muddy and dirty, but the sheets do as well, so I think it just adds up to more laundry. But we are totally worth it, sรญ?"
