CAT. 5: CATastrophic Cocoa CAT

This is all in good fun... it is THANKFUL THURSDAY and we are very thankful no hurricanes have come our way this year... yet, I am a bit offended and insulted. Wanting to know why the humans over at the National Hurricane Center stop with "W"... when, after all, "Z" is a purrfectly fine letter of the alphabet, and "Zoey" is a purrfectly fine name. Besides, I'm a Cat. 5 "hurrycanecat" inside, so why not outside? Here's their list: Walter (04), Wilma (05, retired... she was a winner), William (06), Wendy (07) and yet to come, Wilfred (08) and Wanda (09) and Walter (again, 10). Now mind you, when they get to "W" they switch over to the Greek alphabet and I have seen "Zeta" on the list... tho we never even got to her. Now mind you again, we really don't want even the "As and Bs and Cs"... cause we've been there and done that, all too often. P.S. mmmm, no Maggy's on that list either. Mmmmmmeow.

  3. We are in VA and I'm hoping we don't get any hurricanes either girls! A suggestion should be made to the NHC shouldn't it. No Maggy or Z's for the hurricane names...that's just not right! ;)

  4. Hmmm, yes Maggy & Zoey are perfectly acceptable names for hurricanes. Maybe you should ask The Weather Channel why one hasn't been named after you girls yet.
