CATURDAY ART and PHOTO HUNT: WHEELS

CATURDAY ART

Zoey is so lucky to still be in Florida with her pals TK and Pip, and

dear Aunt Dee [tho we know it's been a wee bit cold there, too!].

But for today's CATURDAY ART, sponsored by Athena and Marie,

we imagine what she might look like if she were here in the frozen north ~

covered with icicles, even one hanging from her little toof!

PHOTO HUNT: WHEELS

Is there a little one out there who does not like to play with

planes 'n' trains 'n' automobiles?

And buses too?  The wheels go round 'n round!

CATURDAY ART and PHOTO HUNT: CANDLES

We're always happy when the weekend rolls around, since we enjoy

taking part in ATHENA and MARIE'S

Caturday Art Blog Hop.  It's a chance for so many bloggers to show their

creativity with photos.  Today, Zoey looks like "spring in winter", pastel painted with

a matching pastel frame.  To join Caturday Art, or view more, just

CATURDAY ART and PHOTO HUNT: ENTWINE

Hey, Mario ~ do I look like a tuxie ???

I am a Blue Point Himalayan.  But I wondered what it would feel like

if I were a "different" kind of kitty and
so I asked the Zoolatry Human about this and
she said, "ok Zoey, what kind of kitty would you be?"

So I said, how about a tuxie, like Mario?

For CATURDAY ART today, she tried to make me look like a tuxie!

PHOTO HUNT: ENTWINE

Our home in Florida was surrounded by woods.  My grandkids enjoyed playing there.

Vines, twigs and fallen branches entwined and made for great climbing.

PHOTO HUNT: YUMMY ~ and ~ CATURDAY ART

Photo Hunt: Yummy

A rather "old" photo, but the hand gesture, the facial expression

and certainly the "mess" all seem to say that the meal was

"yummy"!

 Caturday Art

It's fun to take a photograph and turn it into a black-and-white image,

but leave part of the image in color!

My granddaughter is now a teenager, so this is a very old photograph.

One picture today for both CATURDAY ART and PHOTO HUNT.

A montage of the eyes of youth.

In this instance, my middle grandson ~ his eyes so wonderfully expressive!

the eyes speak to us.

CATURDAY ART [c.1989] and PHOTO HUNT: LACY [2008]

LIONIZE, Photo of my daughter, c. 1989

Keeping with our theme this month of Kids 'n' Animals, our CATURDAY ART for today is really a very simple technique of simply laying two images on top of one another and fading the percentages of each photo until you have "show-through" of one to the other that is appealing to you.  Here, a close up photo of my daughter from her pre-teen years [c. 1989] superimposed over the eyes of a lioness.  For more CATURDAY ART images, sponsored by Athena and Marie, CLICK HERE.
