Do you guys live close enough to see it launch? That would be very cool to watch! ps - your Christmas Club is a great idea. Mommy is gonna' send a photo to you!
OOOOHH yes. We've seen a dozen or more from the NASA VIP site at KSC over the years; and now watch mostly from home... it's about five miles maybe. The house and windows shake from the "booms"... no matter how many you watch, it is always exciting. When we used to go up to KSC for them, your ears would hurt, you could smell the smoke fumes and the ground beneath your feet would tremble. Amazing experiences. Just wish we could go up on one!
What a beautiful picture! I don't think I'd like to go up in one of those, but my brother, MaoMao, my sister Dorydoo and both my Mom and Dad would love it!
I guess that means Brainball and I would stay here and hold down the fort, *smile*.
Do you think they will take me as an astrokitty on their next trip? After all you amazing hard work I think you deserve something nice. Please come over for some pizzas, paella and German sausages. It's OK, SS didn't cook them herself; you wouldn't want to eat anything she cooks. MoMo
Hi Zoolatry people This picture is brilliant! Our teacher is Leslie (topcatrules). It is realy cool that your house is only five miles from the shuttle.
