Hi Friends ~ we're back. Great Grandma is home from the Hospice House and all's right with the world. I am back at work too, in my window, watching over her. While she was away, we tidied up her room and freshened it. I promised the Zoolatry Human that I would stop chewing on the oxygen tube and chasing all the other cords that are everywhere (that was a difficult promise to make, it will be even harder to keep it!). The great grandma is still a little bit confused, she thinks she's in the hospital. She was a registered nurse in her younger days and she wonders why they allow cats in the hospital. The ZH keeps telling her it's OK, that this is our home where we all live together. And the ZH also had a really fun week with the grand girl bean, they went lots of places and did lots of things together. Bye for now...

THE GUARDIAN

We're glad the ZH had some fun with her grandchildren. And we're glad gg is back home with you. Just don't chew on her cords.

We are very glad the ZH had the opportunity to get away. We know the toll full time caregiver takes. She should be applauded for her dedication ans love of family!

ReplyDeleteHaving Great Grandma home is wonderful news. Our Nana set up a hospital room in her house for both our Great Nana and Great Grampy many years ago when they got sick and could not live alone anymore. It is much nicer having them at home, isn't it? We bet having you there brightens your Great Grandma's day!
