GUEST BLOGGER, DAY 3

It's Tuxie Tuesday ~ here's Lacey on the front porch, enjoying
the cat tree Maggy and Zoey "donated".
And here she is through the window.
Guess who's coming to dinner?  Lacey brought a friend one evening!
On our airboat ride through the St. Johns we saw a "friend" we
hope Lacey NEVER brings to dinner!
An Ais Indian Burial Mound in the St. Johns wetlands.
A protected area, the Ais Indians settled this area long before the Seminole.
And lest you think you'd find artifacts, bones or such here ~ the "burial mound"
was where the Indians traveled to, by canoe, to dispose of
waste and garbage.  It was "buried" there.

Photos by Isabel (all but one, of course).
Tomorrow: the last day for our Guest Blogger.

  1. Wonderful guest post. I'm enjoying getting to know the outside cats. But I'm glad you didn't get too close to that gator in the river... Yikes!!

  5. We don't think we EVER want to meet that critter, but the kitties and the guest blogger would be so fun to meet. Isabel is doing a great job, and what a lovely young lady she is!
