Mom would much rather read a real newspaper than read the news online, but it seems like too many newspapers are either disappearing or shrinking with no content worth reading.
We hope you found some good cat gossip on the social page of your FT.
Funny, Jan used to have the same problem. But we haven't had the Sunday paper delivered for ages now. The one Jan liked stopped delivering in this area cause we're too far away. Now she has to read the comics online. :(
I sit next to Mom when she reads the paper. Sometimes she slaps it in my face trying to get it into position to read it. My Mom also would rather read a paper or book and even snail mail letters than read them on line. When she gets a letter on email she will print it out to read it. She gets upset but she also falls asleep when reading a book.
We didn't know you knew so many repurrters for FT. Mom and Dad only get FT on Sundays now. The rest of the week they read it online. We make sure they get the Sunday edition so we can check for coupons for treats!!
That's the same way our CatDaddy reads the paper newspaper, with his eyes closed. Our Mumsy reads on her Kindle. But sometimes, she reads with her eyes closed too and the Kindle falls forward and bops her on the nose.
We are purring for you girls, and your Mom Ann and Papa Vic. (((hugs)))
WOW! We are proud of your fambly members who worked on the paper! (or who still do). Awesome.
ReplyDeleteIsn't reading the Sunday paper just the bestest! It's good snuggle time with M too.
ReplyDeleteYep... falling asleep is what we do best.
