Feathered Friends. Feral Friends. Special Friends.
A trip to the Zoo with the grands is always a special treat. My granddaughter, age 12,
took these "Feathered Friends" photos and I think she
did a great job of composition, color and detail! A budding photographer!
Introducing our "Feral Friends". Fuzzy-wuzzy little Boo Bear and
Bitty, the teeny-tiny black cat are the offspring of Carlacita.
Carlacita has been our porch kitty for several years, and has had
three litters. All her kits have been all black, or tuxie's ... and short haired.
Until Boo Bear came along. Quite a chubby little ball of fur!
Both are adorable.
In the top photo, they share the
cat tree with Lacey, from Carlacita's first litter.
We've always called her Lacey, but she might
just be Larry, as she's never produced a litter.
And I can't let this day go by without mention of a "Special Friend".
A very special friend ... I've come to know and love over several years.
