MAGGY'S "EASY" MONDAY

On the calendar it says today is Labor Day.  I do not believe in labor.  Therefore I declare today to be Easy Monday ~ Maggy's "Easy" Monday.  I want my day today to be just like my day yesterday.  In fact, I'd be happy if everyday were like my yesterday. 

Yesterday, easy.  Around 4 am, the ZH and I napped on the sofa.  She ate a couple of Dove chocolates from the candy bowl and watched a Lifetime movie on TV.  That was easy.  Later in the morning, she turned that danged-old-computer on, looked at emails and looked at me 'n' Zoey's blog, then turned it off.  She ate a vanilla ice cream cone and took another sofa nap and watched a SyFy movie.  It was all so easy.  Once in awhile she'd get up ~ that would disturb me and I don't like to be disturbed when I'm having a comfy nap ~ but she'd go and check on Poppy and sometimes she'd get up cause Poppy would ring his bell.  But mostly Poppy had an easy day, too.  Another time she got up and made some lunch, it didn't look too good to me, but she said it was high protein.  I had some Temptations instead.  I only got Temptations, but I did see her prepare a bowl of Fancy Feast for Carlacita, our porch kitty.  'Cita had not come for breakfast, instead she came for lunch.  Which she almost didn't get to have, cause we don't usually check the porch at lunchtime.  Guess the ZH had a sixth-sense about it ... or all that sugar intake had muddled her mind.  She decided after lunch to take Poppy for a ride in the car.  They don't get out much these days.  It was a short ride cause they both got tired again, so they came home and napped.  I really think lots of naps are good.  The ZH kind of became like Miss Piggy and before her nap, she had a Pepsi and a bowl of potato chips!  Then it was yet another Lifetime movie.  She's says most of those movies are mindless entertainment, whatever that means.  I think she likes to have mindless days, whatever that means.  Then it was late afternoon and the phone rang, and soon after that the physical therapist lady came to the door ~ I mean, really, on a Sunday!!!  But Poppy was pretty good about it.  He did a little bit of the "work", but what he really liked was the massage the PT lady gave him.  Now that's E.A.S.Y.  The ZH was wishing she could have one of those, too.  Not to be.  Then we all napped again until dinnertime.  Me and Zoey and 'Cita all got stinky goodness for dinner, I noticed though that the humans chose to take another nap rather than eat dinner.  Silly people.  So that was pretty much the story of our Easy Sunday.  And I purrsonally think everyday should be easy like that ~ so 'scuse me while I go nap and watch a Lifetime movie ... PS ~ the ZH wants me to say thank you to everyone who is leaving comments, writing thoughtful emails, sending cards ~ she is way, way behind in answering emails, and is sorry 'bout that.  She keeps trying to catch up, but isn't doing too good a job with that, maybe she needs to "labor" a bit more instead of indulging in the "easy" ...
