I was out on the deck one day. Enjoying the rare moments of sunshine that come at this time of year ... when I noticed "these", they were drying out in that same sunshine I guess. Now, I am not the kind of dog who chews up shoes! But I was intrigued. So I looked to the left. I looked to the right. No one about. So I moved closer. These rather odd looking shoes, or perhaps slippers (I have seen them before on Grandma's feet) ... said L.O.V.E. And me, well I'm always up for a little more L.O.V.E. Anytime, anywhere! So I took a few sniffs. Yup, that's my Grandma smell. I like it. I mean I L.O.V.E. it! And I promise not to chew ... promise ... see how innocent I look below, that's my I promise look ...
we would look only too... maybe ;O)

I've seen that promise look before and often it's I'm about to chew this up. It's how we roll. Great captures.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof Wordy Wednesday. My best to your mom. ♥
I learned a long time ago that slippers are not squeaky toys, and therefore off limits to me chewing them up.
ReplyDeleteDougie, you are doing such an amazing job at not having some fun with those slippers. You must love smelling grandma's scent so you are protecting them. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
