Top and middle photos ~ Zoey would always climb into the open drawers of Poppy Vic's desk, or check out the file cabinet drawers if open. Usually not a problem ... she defined the word "curiosity" when it came to cats, and of course, when he was working in his office she was always there with him.
Bottom photo ~ well, that's a whole 'nother story! You have those days when you can't find your kitty and and panic sets in as you search the whole house. It was a day like that with Angel Maggy. Until we finally heard the faint meow coming from Poppy Vic's office. The file cabinet was closed ... but on opening, there she was! Trapped behind the bottom drawer! How she got in there was never known. No amount of teasing, treat offering or cajoling would get her out ... and ultimately, it required disassembling the entire cabinet in order to free her! Needless to say, the cabinet was always kept closed thereafter ...

Wow! That sure is a secret hiding place! Once I got stuck in the downstairs laundry room for a while. I was following Dad around and he, being very hard of hearing, didn't realize I was in there. He couldn't hear me howling either! He finally realized I was missing and found me. Harumph!
