A SUNDAY SELFIE REVISITED

"If 'n you are like me and one of those who has been complainin' about all the high-high-heat
this summer ... well, just a little reminder about last year ... and what likely is yet to come!"

Wise Words on Sunday from Dougie Dog.

"Mmm, I think I'll hop over and share my "wisdom" with everyone else at"

  4. Six months from now the complainers will be complaining about the cold. Some just aren't happy without something to complain about.

  5. MY ghostwriter always says she will never complain about hot weather. She says, "as long as it's not snow and ice, she'll take it!"

  8. Lets be grateful for what we have and that it isn't worse, I say. Snow in summer would be sort of fun, but would soon melt, MOL

  9. I am glad we don't get snow like that, Dougie! I would prefer it to extreme heat though.

  12. That looks quite refreshing to us:)

We lost one of our two pear trees to some wild wind last night:( The tree guy came and took it all away. We are hoping for a quieter night tonight.

  13. Oh Dougie, that looks fabulous. As Mom always says, you can always put on more clothes in the winter and crawl under some blankets. Once you take off all your clothes and get down too your skin, you can’t go any further and you are still HOT when the weather is like this. Thank you for hopping on our fifth anniversary.
