Time to shop, until we drop. That's what I've heard some say.
No "amazon" for us, oh no, oh no, not them, not them, today.
It's more fun to "look and see", to hear mall music play.
See Santy with the little peeps, the decorations on display.
My "mask" is on. Got "paw-sani", and extra wipes to share.
If there are crowds -- I'll stay apart -- because I really care!
Our keys, our cash, we're good to go.
Jean jacket if it turns to cold. I hope we get some snow!
The handbags full, OH, where's my CELL ...
we do need that, you know.
Drats Cats! Do I really have to go in the cat carrier?
Well, would you at least put a big red ribbon bow on it,
I'd like to look a little festive.

DeleteHave fun, June! The biped has curtailed her in-store shopping, as infection #s in our area are climbing and of course the province overall is terrible. So it's just the necessities for us!

June knows not but only Mom will be going, and it's only to ye olde market for FOODZ ... to stock up before the holiday week! Lucky for June, hers comes by the delivery man!

ReplyDeleteThat sure was a fun poem!! Very 'Seuss-ish'! Petcretary has been inundated with Dr Seuss this past week,at her work and a lot of peeps have their TVs on stations playing various Seuss based movies...among others.
