A REAL GHOST STORY

Some ghost stories are just made-up.  But did you know that some ghost stories are real?  This one is real!  JUNE was adopted in early October 2020, and I first posted pictures of her throughout the month, though not many Halloween images, she was just an itty-bitty-kitty.

And as a kitty she spent a lot of time during the month exploring her new living quarters.  In one corner is a big basket where I keep extra blankets, and of course, she had to jump into it ... and this photo was snapped as she pawed across it.  This picture (BELOW) was originally posted to Zoolatry on October 25, 2020.

Do you think there was a ghost visiting us that day?  A playful spirit in our little studio apartment?  Following JUNE around and about as she explored?  I do ... look at the photo (ABOVE) again.  It is not altered, it is not retouched, not Photoshopped in anyway.  It is straight from my camera.  Now look at the photo (BELOW).

This is the same photo (ABOVE).  Unretouched or altered.  It is just tightly cropped for a closer look at the blanket.  What do you see?  How can that be?  I did not see this as I took this photo.  I did not see what the camera saw.  Was it because it was not there?
As our month of BOOLATRY comes to an end, we share our little
Ghost Story with you.  A real one.  Not a made-up one.
A ghost joined us once upon a time.  For real.
Do you believe?  We do.

  5. Yes I do believe! We get ghostly visitations from those we have loved. They leave a sign which is not always seen, but it is there if you look.

  7. I believe!
And all of our Celestial cats came back for visits; Chuck would jump on the bed, Sweetie left her whiskers around, The PO'M would squeak through the open window.

  8. OMC! Now you scared me! Well, not really. I think you've seen our ghost pic and those of our orbs that float around here. Yeah, I was staring at the wall. TW snapped the pic and there on the pic was the glowing outline of a cat on the wall.

  15. MOL we saw the ghost. Whiskers used to come sit on Mom's feet. He hasn't come in a long time which makes Mom kinda sad.

  18. We believe! In fact, we were already gasping and pointing at it in the first photo before we even got to the one you made biggiefied. We swear our Angels visit us and play with us and rub against Mumsy! She will feel one of us rub against her and reach to pet, but nope! No kitty to get ahold of there! She will say, “I love you too”. So, yup, we believe. Hey, you guys have a great weekend. Hugs to you!

  20. How cool was that!! Amazing!!

When I took pics of a gift I received for Minko a few years ago, I had no idea there would be several little rainbow sprites dancing around the wind chimes!! He was letting me know all was well at the RB. Photo realists would say it was due to the lighting, but we kitty pawrents know better, right??!

  21. Oh indeed that was a little "presence" - probably welcoming June to her happy home and letting her know she now owned everything there including her new Mom's heart!

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom
