SUNDAY SELFIE ~ NOT YET!

When I try to wake my Mom, with gentle paws, at 3:30 am, because I have hungers for my breakfast,
I hear her say, "not yet" and she goes back to sleep.
When I start meowing and pawing at 3:30 pm, at that one cupboard drawer that I know has all my food cans,
because I'd very much like to be served dinner,
I hear her say from somewhere, "not yet, Junie girl".
Mom, can I hang my Christmas ornament now?
"Not yet."

  2. Oh, you poor dear girl. I shudder at the thought of being told that constantly. Your expression speaks volumes, though that photo is so cute with your ornament dangling. Thankfully, my eating's such a thing here that they keep me supplied so I don't end up making my kidney issues worse. That, plus my vet says at my age they gotta just be glad I'm eating.

  6. Walter hears that phrase a lot too, June. It's too bad our pawrents don't just feed us when we are hungry.

I can't wait to see where you put it, when it is after not-yet.

My mommy says "Is not time yet, little man."

I went back to sleep for a whole hour this morning. So I got lots of bushings after breakfast.

  10. Mackey has an excellent built in clock. If Mom is busy and misses one of those special times, Mac is right there to remind her.

  15. I love our Christmas tree but the American habit of putting it up a month early really baffles me! Then it comes down on Boxing Day *shakes head * Still, I KNOW you will love seeing the tree when it's up it will sparkle and shine and you will go WOW when you hang your decoration on the tree!
