Junie, when I was your age, I wasn't allowed to drink coffee because it would 'stunt my growth'. Am pretty stunted now in my advanced years, and need caffeine to power up the engine! Hahahahah!
Juney you are a lady after my own heart...I love my morning java too. Ann your comment about party lines reminded me of how 'some times...if no one was looking' you could pick up the phone and listen to conversations from those on your party line. It was often a real party/gossip like Hugs Cecilia

Yes, a little bit of kindness goes a long way! Last week I was bringing a cart full of groceries out of the store, and the guy parked next to me just started helping me load my stuff into the trunk of my car. He said there needs to be more kindness in this world.
Don't tell me there's no such thing as magic potions, every morning i have an infusion from the magic coffee beans and they bring me back to life, and i am very thankful!
Yes, kindness indeed...and a lot of coffee for this particular biped. ;-)
