You know how mine Mommy sets up challenges for me.
It's cause I'm not really much on playing with toys all the time,
so the challenges give me something different to do.
It's cause I'm not really much on playing with toys all the time,
so the challenges give me something different to do.
Sometimes they're really good. Sometimes not.
Guess what? This time, when she challenged me ~ I challenged her!
Read on...
So, it's just a box, an ordinary, everyday box you say. What's the challenge? None.
Then she tosses my baby blankie on top. Not much of a challenge here either.
Sorry, Mom, I'm thinking, as she sits over there (in my polka dot chair!)
waiting and waiting, camera in hand. And I do nothing.
And she waits. And waits, and waits.
She is waiting so long for me to do something and I am doing nothing,
and I even hear her cell phone camera automatically click off!
Her phone is tired of waiting!
I am doing nothing because I like it in here, I like being in this box,
and I like this box covered up with my baby blankie.
I think like 20 minutes go by.
Well, maybe 5 minutes.
She is bored now with just waiting.
And I am bored now doing nothing.
Maybe it is time for me to do something.
But the truth is I was doing something,
I was challenging you, Mommy.
Who will give up, give in first?
Ha! You're very clever, June! In our house, the biped would not have had the patience to wait. 😁
ReplyDeleteyou won da challenge no doubts...
ReplyDeleteOh boy, you are such a cat! Our little brother is trying challenges with our mom right now to see how far he can push her buttons too.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure you can win June.
ReplyDeleteWe cats have a lot of patience, especially for hunting and waiting.
Humans tend to do things now, now, now!
Purrs, Julie
You are the smart one, Juney ☺
ReplyDeleteJune, surely your mom figured out that you were giving her the challenge not her doing you one. Humans can
ReplyDeletebe slow on the uptake, mol. If only we kitties had thumbs, then you coulda taken her photo while she was waiting.
you won the make her wait but she won the purrrrrfect shot in the last photo. I love your head emerging from your hidy hole box
ReplyDeleteHi, June. I would've fallen asleep waiting for you! So your Mom has more patience. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI thinks it's a draw. You're both patient.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ♥
Oh Junie, you are hilarious!
ReplyDeleteIt's you against your meowmy sometimes, but it's all in fun, no?

I am not sure who won the challenge. She did get some cute photos of toesies and a nose.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand that Junie...I also love being in my room with my blanky covering it...
ReplyDeleteIt's so cozy!
xoxo,
Sunny
You were just enjoying a nice nap in your covered box, but your mom got her pictures in the end.
ReplyDeleteJune it is very wise of you to carefully plan enrichment Cat-tivities for huMOM. You don't want her getting bored or anything. MOL MOL And it is a good way to get her OUT OF YOUR chair too
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
Our kitty cat cousins Hannibal and Tiberius (Hanni and Tibie) say that kitty cats naturally have lots and lots of patience. A lot more than humans!
ReplyDeleteAwwww so clever and very cute!
ReplyDeleteAhahaha, oh my, June, I think in the area of patience and determination, you are well matched!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to challenge your mom. XO
ReplyDeleteLet me guess. Mommy gave in first? I know kitties have long attention spans when it comes to doing nothing. Clever girl, Miss June.
ReplyDeleteYou're challenging each other! Very smart!
ReplyDeleteYou were clearly the winner sweet June!
ReplyDeleteYou are the great disappearing cat
ReplyDeleteIt's like your own blanet fort, i don't blame you for wanting to hang around in there.
ReplyDeleteMOL, she just upgraded your box.
ReplyDeleteLOL, LOL! A waiting game and you both called it quits, Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteMinko would hide like that...but when someone came close, his paw would quickly dart out and give his victim a whap!
