FUN WITH FONTS ~ FLASHBACK
We didn't seem to find time this week to come up with new art, or maybe imagination fell short ~ but whatever the case, we dug way back into old files and instead are sharing "fun with fonts", which is a form of art. I don't design fonts, though I wish I had the talent to do so, but I do manipulate them ~ with color, with the addition of clip art, photos, twists-and-turns, sizing, beveling, shadows and more. When I began my blog, I chose the font FLETCHER for the Zoolatry name, and have pretty much stayed with that font. Though at times, felt the need to use a different style just to have fun! In adding clip art or photos, it's always best to use what you're entitled to use: art you have purchased, or art/photos of your own, free to download art ~ not taking from other artists or sources, certainly not without permission. Playing with fonts is easy to do, even when you don't have access to many sophisticated art programs and it can spark up your blog headers, not just at the holidays but all year long. These were all potential fonts for Christmas headers in the past, I think the "candy" one was used, and the ornament tree, but the others may not have been, but all stay in my files.
They all look lovely.
ReplyDeleteI like all of these and I think i would choose the second one, 2017. you are gifted at all this manipulation
ReplyDeleteJune, you and your mommy must have had fun with all that red and green letters. Very Christmassy. Precious
ReplyDeleteMom loves fonts, we are amazed by the Christmas Tree you made out of fonts. Mom may try that one day. ~ATCAD
ReplyDeleteWe love all those fonts and the creativity you show. The ribbon candy in the first one is especially eye catchy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun collection of fonts for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThey are all amazing but we really like the ones with the Christmas candies!
ReplyDeleteI, too, am very fond of fonts. When you find one you REALLY like, best to stay with it unless they come out with something new and better. I like the first one you displayed, the most.
ReplyDeleteI love them all. You are so talented. XO
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to play with art programs. It helps when you use them often (to be familiar) and you have an artistic flair(missing with mum). Mum does not use her program much anymore We always enjoy seeing your fabulous creations.
ReplyDeleteYou really have an artist's flair and we are the lucky ones that get to see your creations :)
