So, June, today is "respect your cat day" ~ how do you suggest I observe that on your behalf?
Oh, I know exactly what you should do ~ whatever I do, whenever I do it,
however I do it, no matter how often I do it, whether you like that I do it,
or don't like that I do it, whether it makes you happy that I do it,
or makes you unhappy that I do it, whether you think I should do it,
or think I should not have done it, whether you approve of what I have done,
or disapprove that I did such a thing, whether you are upset with me for
having done what I did, or very proud and pleased with me for
having done whatever it was that I did, here's the thing:
I do what I want, when I want, regardless ~ because I am a cat.
I do as I wish to do ~ because I am a cat.
I am who I am ~ a cat.
Respect me, it is a requirement ~ for I am a cat.
absolutely, well said!!!ReplyDelete
All cats should always be respected!ReplyDelete
I think we dogs will find some place to go so we don't have to deal with our cat on this day! You enjoy your day June, but don't be too tough on your mom.ReplyDelete
standing Ovation! you ARE A CAT!ReplyDelete
June, we may still grumble under our breath.ReplyDelete
At my house we all feel like we are respected. We aren't told to do stuff. We are allowed to make our own decisions. If we don't like a brand of food, we are offered a second choice. We sleep where we want, and hang out with who we want. Which is why Wabbit is on a Time Share Plan at our house. We just don't wanna deal with his boo-sheet AssWabbit antics anymore. Love, DoriReplyDelete
You are so regal plus adorable ~ReplyDelete
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

We know you're a cat. We know exactly what you expect of lesser humans. You made me chuckle.ReplyDelete
