SPRING

Truth ~ we thought it had arrived sometime ago ~
flowers have been popping up everywhere,
flowering trees in full bloom ~
yet, grass is still brown and regular trees are still "nekked" of leaves!
Winter was barely a moment's thought.

  1. Spring arrives here in the south about seven times.
In a couple of hours we reach 33.8°F and that certainly is not yet a spring time temperature!
But every flower is a welcome sight for our tired winter soul...
    Hugs,

  2. The tree looks lovely. Apart from a few sub zero days (centigrade not Fahrenheit!) it has been a very mild but wet winter. Everything is flowering early and the birds are feeding their as yet unseen babies.

  5. So pretty! We are bummed we won't get out to the east coast to see all the blooms as we had planned. But, life throws out changes and we have to roll with them. Maybe something better is in store for us. Enjoy the blooms!

  6. Gorgeous! We've had very little winter, but it's made a comeback this week, with snow to usher in official spring here. Good thing all the flowers are pretty hardy!

  10. Gorgeous tree! We're also in the south with many plants budding and lots of bird TV for the cats, but our temps dipped slightly below freezing last night, too.

  21. What an exquisite tree in your courtyard. Spring is barely emerging here in the Mile High but we're beginning to see tiny slices of leaves trying to unfurl but the spring bulbs are working their magic and blooming beautifully. Happy first day of spring!
