HAPPY TUESDAY ~ AND ~

Happy Tuesday ~ and "thankful Thursday" even though it's not Thursday, yet!  I'm happy because all the big storms are over.  Yeah, we got really big boomers and those lights in the sky (not the purrty color ones) and muchly rain last night, and all that super scares me.  Yes, I am a scaredy cat.

At first, mine Mommy was sitting at her 'puter, reading some news and I was in my window rounder checking out the evening activities on Charles street.  I said, "mommy, look, a big black alien ship is all over the city", she said it was only a big swirling cloud.  But all of a sudden that alien ship attacked.  For a few seconds I hid under the table.  Then, I did the door-dash thing to my closet (luckily, she'd had the presence of mind to pre-open the closet door for me, I guess she knew what was coming ...).  Like I meowed, I am a scaredy cat.

June?  Don't we have something else to say?

Oh meow, yes ~ we are keeping paws together, each and every day ~ for so many families and friends all over those places far and wide in the mid-western states where these storms have been far worse.  Stay safe, dear friends and furriends.

  1. Underneath the table and in the closet sounds like great hiding spots to me, Juney. We agree with your mom - the storms in so many places are getting worse and worse and we feel for these peeps and their families.

  2. looks like a proper bunker to hide from storms.. all of our dogs preferred the closet when storms came. Beau becomes a mama/daddy hugger, he doens't panic but he doesn't like them

  3. I am glad you were safe from the storms, June and Ann. We don't get the bad swirling storms like you, but I am still a scaredy cat too and don't like the boomies and flashes.

  4. June, the storms came here at night before they went to your house. I'm sorry I had to send them your way but they scared me too and I couldn't keep them here any longer. Instead of sleeping in my recliner I had to go hide under the bed during the night.

  5. We had boomers part of the afternoon yesterday. Bailie is scared to death of them and can't settle down. Madison is scared too, but is alright if she is near mom. Nelson and I don't care about storms at all and Mom really hopes it stays that way. Bailie is a real paw full.

  6. Dearest June,
Well, you sure were scared for hiding under that table!
It is rough for people and animals if such a storm rages...

  7. All these storms must be terrifying. We have had so much rain the past few months but, thankfully, bad storms are relatively rare here. Keep safe!

  10. Yikes! We have not had those boomer storms yet though mum says that season is coming.
Even then we do not tend to get storms as much, though that is changing a bit.
Glad you had a good hiding spot!!!!

  11. Our Lil' Bit goes UTB when she's scared. Squeaker isn't scared of anything so far. We're happy about that.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to June. ♥

  12. It's very wet here too, June, but the fireworks were only from humans lighting off stuff.

  13. Aww, pretty kitty-so sorry the storm scared you. Hope everyone is ok now and there are no boomers today.

  14. Those storms are just horrible June, you did good to hide in the closet. In 2011, we were in an EF4 tornado, direct hit. We hid too.

  17. Those storms have sure been nasty, I'd hide too but we've been lucky. I'm glad you and your Mom are okay sweet June!

  18. It's ok to be scared, June. Bad storms scare me to death too! (Not Mudpie though! She's fearless. Or completely at ease that I'll always protect her.)

  20. We were thinking about you with all that bad weather sweeping across the country and finally making ityour way. We are glad it was just noisy and not damaging. Our human brother had some wild storms this morning in the Dallas area, but they are all fine. Thankfully.
