Sometime, I think, there's got to be
A night that glitters just for me:
A gorgeous, swishing, low-cut gown
For wining, dining on the town.
Exotic perfume on my breast,
A fancy hair-style, all the rest...
With all that's shining in the skies
Reflected in my dazzled eyes.
Before I grow too old to wear
The dress...
The perfume...
Fancy hair.
Today I spent a bit more time reading (on blogs) than picture looking. This poem seemed to reach out and touch me... I hope it may find its way back to the writer, with my thank you bouquet.
A beautiful poem!!
ReplyDeleteI also feel sad that I did not have time to visit my friends around the blogosphere. All my time went to CCSI, directing and photo editing. I only visited blogs to copy a picture for using in the Red Carpet shots, or to see if the cat or dog was a boy or a girl. :)
You are welcome to take copies of your Red Carpet photos from my blog. Not only Zoey is in, also Maggy, as photographer...
