OPTI-CAT APPOINTMENT

Last week I went to Dr Opti-Cat with the Zoolatry Human. She said sometimes she sees way too many of me (how can that be?). Other times she says I am way too fuzzy in the middle (gee, I'm fuzzy all over!). The doctor says she has early cat-a-racts. I said, "oh no... we're not having any more cats in our house... on racks or otherwise!"
I got my eyes examined, too. Is 1 better than 2? 1 or 2? 2 or 1?
The Zoolatry Human says why do they always use the same letters,
she memorized those letters on the chart when
she was 6-years-old and that was at least century ago.

They use drops to biggify your eyes. I think this magnifier glass does the same thing. I tried on lots of contact lenses (I'm too vain for glasses... at least not yet!). The green ones make me look jealous. The yellow ones make me look bright and cheerful. The red ones make me look angry, and I am never angry. Later my eyes felt quite blank and empty! Later than that, my eyes were once again the "baby blues" that twinkle and shine. I decided not to get contacts.
I think I'll stay with my Elton John Yellow Brick Road Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me Benny and The Jets spectaculars with just a hint of a tint of royal purple.

  8. We love that photo but it's a little eerie seeing all those eyes at once. We're sorry your human has early cataracts. We hope you'll take good care of her.

  13. Zoey, I'm glad you didn't get contacts I like your blue eyes just the way they are. My Mom had catarcats too but she said having the surgery was one of the best things she had done. She can see better now than when she was in the fifth grade. She also had stigmatism and anti-stigmatism (what ever the heck that is) which she had fixed too. Mom had coke bottom glasses, but now they are not big. She can see without them but she still needs them. She was all excited to see each and every leaf on a tree.
