We have very few photos of Zoey with her furs at their fullest and their longest.
This old photo, taken in December of 2008 shows her fur
in all its Himalayan splendor ~ nearly to the floor!
I think this must have been "back in the day" before she discovered her love of water,
and she took to the sinks and shower. It was after that time, that due to all the frequent
matting it became necessary to keep her furs trimmed much shorter.
What a shame! She was quite a beauty with this long fur, not that she
isn't still a beauty with the short cuts!
Yes, that IS a magnificent coat on her in that picture.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Wow, what glorious fur! We can see how it would need to be kept shorter, though!
ReplyDeleteShame but probably more comfy. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
She does have a beautiful coat. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWow - what a bootiful girl with gorgeous fur coat.
ReplyDeleteThe coat is very beautiful but then she is with it cut too. I do so know how it feels. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteOh Zoey, you do have such lovely furs. So pretty. Glad we got to see this picture. Take care.

Zoey, you're a Himalayan! You must be the most natural yogicat! Me-Ommmmmm
ReplyDeleteThose were indeed special gorjis furs!
ReplyDeleteShe really does have an amazing coat. That would certainly be a mess if it was matted, though, so it makes sense to keep it trimmed a bit more.
ReplyDeleteWow, Zoey! Look how long your furs were! You are beautiful, no matter what kind of haircut you have. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, dear friends.
She has such beautiful furs - but that must be a lot of work to keep up. We like her with her short furs too.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
What a lush and amazing coat! She and the White Dog Army have both the beautiful furs and the tendency to mat in common. Does she shed like the WDA does as well?
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful girl! Mom misses her Himmie, Angel Cerise, so much and loves to see pictures of you. Hope all is going well in the new home.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful coat. Brulee's floof mats so easily and it usually takes a couple if days I work them out just in time for them to start over again.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of beautiful furs to brush sweet Zoey. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteMust have been hot with all that Himalayan splendour though. xx
