CATURDAY DOG ART

Dougie Dog was sitting by a window ... his body bathed in strong sunlight, but his head and face back in shadow, so was the photo I shot.  Endlessly I played with it ... trying to create something different and unique for today's Caturday Art.  But in the end, using the concept of "less is more" I went back to the original photo and only highlighted the light areas, and darkened the dark areas ... then slightly sharpened the image overall.  Lastly, it was given a beveled frame.  Reasonably satisfied ... yes, sometimes less is more.  And so, we're joining Caturday Art, sponsored by Athena and Marie.

  1. Beautiful picture! And nicely processed. As a compulsive photo tweaker, I can relate. You did a great job. Thank you.
