Seriously, furries!
I paced, growled, whined, meowed.
I considered swatting the top of her head as she passed by!
All to no avail.
. . . tick tock tick tock tick tock . . .
Breakfast was late. Treats were late.
And now I sit and wait for dinner.
And all I heard was . . .
"not yet. no. wait a bit. no, sorry. not yet. quiet please. no!"
A COMMENT FROM THE ZOOLATRY HUMAN: guess who finally gave up, gave in? guess who finally did get swatted on the shoulder as she passed by? guess who was ignored the rest of Sunday?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes: today better be better than yesterday!
we hear ya... we have it since one week and we have no clue how long we can stand that ...
ReplyDeleteIt's so awful, isn't it, Juney. As mom types this, I'm laying on the rug in front of the refrigerator giving her the I'm Starving stare!
ReplyDeleteThat dreaded hour change is more trouble than it is worth!
ReplyDeleteJune you are absolutely correct. Stand up fur your rights! And we bet your human didn't even offer you an extra treat! Life for cats, though glorious, can ve unfair at such times!
ReplyDeleteWe never have set mealtimes so the one hour change isn't a bother for eating. But...we do have set bedtimes and we were really tired out having to stay up an extra hour last night. We will all adjust in a few days to everything, even you June :)
ReplyDeleteIt sure gets to be confusing sweet June!
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened here.
ReplyDeleteahhhhhhhhhhh the TIME CHANGE... this is the first year we have not had the same thing, Beau is so sick he has not asked for anything in the past 6 days... You are so beautiful June... love the bonnet, Tell Mama thanks for stirring up blog with to share with us the Power of the Paw
ReplyDeleteEat her dinner. See how she feels.
ReplyDeleteOur huMom woke up at 5 am today - which would have been a sleep-in for her otherwise - and got up anyway to feed us. How long will THAT last ?
ReplyDeletePoor June! I swear every year twice a year that I will start ahead of time and slowly work the feeding times to the new time and every time I forget!
ReplyDeleteI had the same kind of day, June. Exactly the same. I would complain, but nobody is listening.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ♥
OMCs June...your huMom works for free so you either gonna have to adjust or pay big bucks
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
Didn't you enjoy that extra hour of sleep?
ReplyDeleteSweet kitty photo and I agree with the kitty ~ yesterday ~ transitioning was difficult ~ Xo

Oh my gosh, how dare she!
ReplyDeleteWhy do humans insist of messing with time??? They can be so silly sometimes!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy and the Gang
Life can be so unfair!
ReplyDeleteWe had the same thing happen here! What's wrong with our humans?
ReplyDeleteAll of cats and dogs and other furry ones dependent upon others for food, etc; should gather and have an anti-clock-change demonstration...a peaceful one, though...
ReplyDeleteThose clock changes are murder on us.
ReplyDeleteLet's all lobby that the next time we change the clocks, we reset them by a half hour and leave them there, splitting the difference!
Oh No! Mom has learned over the years that 4 hungry animals is NOT a good thing and slowly moved our meals all week so we did not even notice her changing the clocks yesterday! (that did NOT stop us from wanting extra treats though! Hope you did not starve dear furrend! Marv
ReplyDeleteIt is always a big adjustment
