I always like a "new challenge". And I don't think there's been a challenge I've met that I didn't beat, didn't win! But drats cats, my winning streak is over. It's true, kid you not! This one was a gotcha in the first degree.
She had to put a light bulb in the new lamp (I broked the old lamp last month on one of my flying zoomies, but that's another story for another day). It had this funny shaped little paper thingy around the base of the bulb. You know I love my spring toys.
So into this "thingy" go some springs. Challenge? Get them out!
It looked easy. Easy peasy. But pushing it thisaway and thataway and those spring toys stayed stuck, right in that thingy.

I worked that thingy hard. Gave it my best effort.
Did she help? Not!
What's a girl to do?
They say when you fall off your horse, get up and ride again.
I don't know.
I'll just take a nap and think about that.
That looks like an ideal puzzle for you, Miss June!
ReplyDeletewow it's not only a toy for spring what springs around its for fall too when you fall asleep while playing ;O)))
ReplyDeletewow, a toy you can't figure out. good job Mama... this will give you much joy fighitng with it and then another nap and then another fight, I am thinking the object is to prevent future zoomies that break lamps
ReplyDeleteThat is so adorable! June certainly has a most expressive little face -- and those eyes of hers are unmatched. The penultimate picture made me chuckle because I get the same look from Dani when I don't do what she expects.
ReplyDeleteYou'll figure it out. You always do.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
That was quite a challenge. We know you'll figure it out.
ReplyDeleteWe suggest you just chew your way through that cardboard to those springs. At least that is what us pups would do.
ReplyDeleteThat is some challenge there June, I think a good nap is a purrfect solution!
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom helps you if you need it after your nap, Juney.
ReplyDeleteMaybe after your nap you will spring into action again sweet June!
ReplyDeleteYou poor kitty. I can't believe she wouldn't help you. XO
ReplyDeleteI am sure you will work it out, June. Try using your teeth and claws to get the cardboard off the springs instead of trying to get the springs out.
ReplyDeleteWe bet you'll figure it out sooner or later.
ReplyDeletejuney chowder....we bet when ewe wake up....de springz will has set ther selvz....free.....

Taking a rest for a bot might be just the thing, Juney ! Our huMomoften has to take a nap in the middle of the Saturday crossword puzzle.
ReplyDeleteWe look forward to hearing about the lamp. Lee and Phod who are glad they aren't the only trouble causers
ReplyDeleteI bet after a good nap you figured it out! That was surely a tricky one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a challenge! Have you thought about just tearing the paper thingy off?
ReplyDeleteThat thing is fascinating
ReplyDeleteMaybe after you wake up, you'll figure it out, June! You have tried so hard, don't give up!
ReplyDeleteHee! Hee! If I did that, Marv would rip it to shreds! OR ignore it totally.
