Mine mommy went to take an afternoon nap. I thought it would be nice to nap beside her. I curled up against her knees. She was still reading something on her phone ~ but as it was a "special moment" with me napping beside her like that, she took a picture. So, I swished my tail across her face to show my slight displeasure but she just took another picture! Then I looked sort of sideways at her with that glance that was meant to say 'enough now'. We really didn't get much of a nap together after all because I jumped down and went to my polka dot chair and she just kept on reading. Some things don't work out as planned.
June, sometimes our mommies just don't understand what it is we need and they interrupt us. But you did put some pretty pictures out of yourself and that's nice. Precious
ReplyDeleteMaybe not a lot of a nap together, but for sure a lot of quality time together, June😻Double Pawkisses from us to the both of you🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteWinning against the cursed mobile phone is difficult. Better to lose the phone then get the staff by walking all over the laptop instead. Works for me!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday to you!

Sometimes we cats just want to snuggle with our person. But our person has to take those darn pics!!!
ReplyDeleteMum is the same. As soon as I see the phone, I close my eyes or look away.
Drives her nuts but...oh well. A cat has to do what a cat has to do ;)
MOL!!!!
Don't you just hate it when you want to spend quality time with your human and all they want to do is take your picture. Ours does the same thing.
ReplyDeleteMomsand dads are tricky with those cell phones, eh June? Well, we are glad you tow at least had a little bit of special time together. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely pics, Juney!
ReplyDeleteChester says he understands your predicament. Someone's always trying to take pictures of him, especially when he's sleeping.
ReplyDeleteJune, when a kitty climbs onto my chest when I'm laying down, I sometimes reach out to pet them and they leave because they want to sleep, not be petted!
ReplyDeleteOh well.
MOL! You are a fussy little cutie Ms. June!!! We love those pictures, so I think that may just happen again - MOL!
ReplyDeleteShe should have been nicer and just left you slept, especially when you were so cooperative with the Cat-dams family. Lee and Phod

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the pictures even though they weren't really in your plans, June. Our kitties avoid pictures sometimes, too.

ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty cute selfie sweet June and a comfy spot to rest too!
ReplyDeleteJune, I understand. I don’t like my picture taken sometimes. I usually look away from the camera which ruins the shot. ~Ernie
