You put your right paw out and you shake it all about.
Now put that left paw out and shake that one all about.
You turn around, and . . .
Hey, meow, hold on a minute here.
The "hokey pokey"! You've gotta be kidding.
It's a good thing I don't twitter, tok the tik, gram in an instant or plant my face in the book!
I'd be laughed into the last century fur sure. What era do you live in?
I'd better make a mad dash to the closet before you suggest "the stroll".
we said!!! we don't tik nor do we tweet... it's all tooo complicated for ole peeps...
ReplyDeleteYes June, humans have some weird addictions!
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing is that they tend to sit(sometimes)
while they do those things and provide a lap for we cats!
Purrs, Julie
But...but...June! That's what it's all about!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, the hokey pokey. Here I get the "row your boat gently" and the " 3 blind mice" in my head
ReplyDeleteall the time. Sorry June, that is what happens when our fur babies end up with mature humans for pets.
Yes, I am a hokie pokie singer/dancer and also reemember the stroll.... proof of age i am thinking
ReplyDeleteWe don't Tik Tok either but we think you look adorable. Thanks for stopping by our blog and helping me celebrate my birthday - Raz
ReplyDeleteMom remembers the hokey pokey! She says it was fun!
ReplyDeleteWe bet the hokey pokey is still done with little kids. It's a great way to teach right from left.
ReplyDeleteYou can do anything and get away with it sweet June, cuteness does that for you!
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone, June. Dani likes to do the hokey pokey, too. Maybe you can get together and hokey-poke each other some day.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay June, I don't do social media either. It can get too toxic. I have always wondered why it is called Hokey Pokey in the US and Hokey Cokey in the UK.
ReplyDeleteAhahaha, I remember the hokey pokey too June! You look darling, in any case. We don't do Twitter or TikTok here either.
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute. :) XO
ReplyDeleteLOL BOL! I remember learning the Hokey-Pokey in grade school. That and square dancing too. Darned if I remember how to do any of them now!
ReplyDeleteHey June, it's OK. Our Dad still sometimes leads the hokey pokey at Rocktoberfest at Rock City, GA. Well, maybe he is just a bit old....
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing wrong with living in the past!
ReplyDeleteYou are a dancing machine.
ReplyDeleteHey, don't knock "the stroll" until you've tried it. The Hokey Pokey is tons of fun, ask everyone who danced it at my wedding (yes, they were tippling a bit, why do you ask?).
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining Feline Friday!
I'd love to see a show of hands for all the moms and dads who remember the Hokey Pokey and the Stroll, June.
ReplyDeleteI even got kicked out of IG, and I only was using it to have a 'handle', LOL!! I have a twitter for the same reason, and I do use FB a wee bit more, but not much at all...and none of the others. They eat up too much time.
ReplyDeleteBlogging alone takes up oodles of time...
You have new dance moves, June?? Hoke Pokey doesn't cut it anymore, eh??! LOL!
