WORDY WEDNESDAY

It has dawned on me that ever since this non-furry kitteh started coming to the Zoolatry home every day, less and less attention is paid to me.  In fact, I've noticed the ZH seems to prefer taking pictures of this kitteh rather than of me!  Now, Maggy could care less, she doesn't like to have her picture taken anyway.  But me, well, that's a cat-of-a-different-color to paraphrase.  I like my picture taken... guess I'm a camera-hog... and this is mostly "my blog", I'm here more than anyone else... so I learned recently that if the ZH is taking pictures of this other kitteh, the thing to do is sneak in... I'm quite good at sneaking around.  They usually don't hear me coming.  Of course, in this instance, that kit stepped on my tail.  So from now on, I must use extra care when I sneak into the picture... and when I'm around that other kit, er kid...

THURSDAY: THANKFUL, THIRTEEN, AND THIRTY

I am THANKFUL for these fun twister toys.

I have at least THIRTEEN of them.

Well, the truth is I purrably have about THIRTY of them.

I can pick them up with my claws,

and yes, in answer to the question:

Each and every one of them will hang on my little toof

and it looks quite hilarious.

[I just haven't allowed the ZH to get a photo of that yet, tho.]

WORDY WEDNESDAY

I have to tell you, I am kind of getting used to this new non-furry kitteh who comes to hang out with us every day.  He's got some great toys and sometimes he lets me play with them.  I don't understand though why his toys are always so wet-and-gooey-like.  So far, I haven't let him play with my toys cause I don't want mine all wet-and-gooey-like. I take care of my toys and I think he should take care of his!  Some of his toys make funny noises, just like some of mine do.  He's got this neat playhouse and I like to spend time in it with him.  He's got another one, too, the ZH calls it the "pen".  I like to get in that one also.  And then there's the swing, and the jumper thingy, and a special chair high up for when he eats.  I'll admit to being a little bit jealous of that last one -- they make me eat from a bowl on the floor.  Can you imagine... on the floor!

PHOTO HUNT: SIX

Today's Photo Hunt is "Six" and seemed the appropriate time to reintroduce our feral family of "six"... center in the photo is PK (originally known as Porch Kitty) and her little PKs... a Parade of Kits, all five of them.  As I was doing this post, the "parade" marched by my window, coming from the back yard to the front porch for their evening supper.  Their home appears to be in the woods of our backyard.  Daytime they are often playing all 'round the barbecue, so we now keep a water dish out there for them.  One evening recently I removed the screen from the bedroom window so I could stick the camera out and get a few photos of them.  Though the parade winds up on the front porch early a.m., and each evening around dusk, no photos are allowed... all are too shy, too skittish to allow us near.

This is Dio. Dio the Big Dog.
The Big Dog Dio with the Big Tail.
 Dio lives with my aunt & uncle and my two cousins.

I went to visit them on Memorial Day and I met Dio.

He has quite a tail!  His tail is bigger than me!

(and no, I am not drooling... I am blowing bubbles)

INTRODUCING: PK

We're pleased to introduce PK. 
Here she is with two of her five kitties.

PK and family live in the woods at the edge of our back yard.

They come out to play in the evenings.  They come to our porch

for breakfast, treats and dinnertime.

All are very hesitant, and so far, we've been unable to

get any photographs except these two taken

through the window.
