FASHION FRIDAY: GROAN 'N GROWL 'N GROOM TIME

Once upon a time, someone took the long, soft and silky fur and the sweet flat face of the Persian and put it together with the exotic color points of the Siamese. We, Himmies as we are sometimes called, are Himalayans and we are the wonderful end result of that mix.

Yet, our long wooly coats which often fall right to the floor, and our luxurious lion-like neck ruffs, our big fluffy tails and our little legs that seem to be wearing furry bloomers, all need some regular and very special attention.

So, every few months, Ms. Judi comes to our house to give us that "very special attention". Even though Ms. Judi is gentle and good, and in all ways the premiere professional... we will play hide & seek when she comes to the door with all her stuff in tow. We will hiss and growl, and moan and whine, and even meekly attempt to swat her... but all in all, we feel really good when she is done, and we look fantastically beautiful! Ms. Judi does grooming for many champions, so we are in good hands -- visit her at her website, FIDOS & FELINES, to see pictures of these magnificent cats (our pictures are there, too!).

And now on with the story... Ms. Judi came over just a couple of nights ago... the back porch became her beauty parlor... and the rest, well the rest of the story is told below in pictures (minus the hissing, growling, moaning and whining sound effects).
