last year, she wore a BULKY hat and a BULKY jacket
and BULKY mittens.
I wore a BULKY hat and goggles.
She liked the cable car ride up the mountain.
It scared me, I did not like it...
it made my tummy feel BULKY.
PS: do you ever say or read a word so many times
that it starts to sound quite odd, I am now
finding BULKY to be a very odd word.
What a great picture!!
ReplyDeleteAnd YES! Some words do start sounding weird if repeated. My all time favorite word is DISCOMBOBULATE.
Hope you have a nice weekend... not discombobulated or bulky!
The hat is SO sweet on the mini human, but it is CRAZY sweet on you!!
ReplyDeleteBulky is one of those words that sounds like what it means.
ReplyDeleteNice bulky photo hunt post!
Happy Saturday!
The Woman bulks up when she skis too! What a great bulky!
ReplyDeleteThat is funny about words, how a word will suddenly seem so very strange, yet it is a word that is ordinary.
ReplyDeleteSqueeeeeeeeeee -- Hello Kitty! I love that cute cat and am glad to see its visage making an appearance on somebody else's blog! :))))
ReplyDeleteMOL. We're glad that you were both wrapped up warm in bulky hats
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely bulky pic.
ReplyDeleteMom said she agrees over some words sounding weird. She said almost any word can sound weird if you say it enuff. She's fascinated by the origins of words and is amazed at how many words are similar in different languages.
Sweet photos!!!
ReplyDeleteYou ask how cold is it here in South Texas?.....well, my answer [and bulky plumage of bird] is my Photo Hunt Post today. LOL
Aww what a little cite! Have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteYou both look cute in your hats, and you Koey, with your goggles.
ReplyDeleteWe agree about the words. Sometimes you write a word that you have written thousands of times, and the more you look at it, the more it looks incorrectly spelled even though you know it is right.
We like that pink Hello Kitty hat!
ReplyDeleteHaha I find odd words all the time!
ReplyDeleteMOL - the word Bulky sounds funny to us now too! We think the granddaughter looks sweet in her Hello Kitty hat and so do you!
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids
Great BULKY photo. BULKY sounds odd to us. But what is worse is sometimes even though we have spelled a word right it starts to look WRONG to us. That drives us NUTS.~AFSS
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute in your bulky attire!
ReplyDeleteThe Hello Kitty cap is adorable!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yeah bulky is a weird word. Nice hat!!
ReplyDeleteI goofed for Photo Hunters this week, and did "12" instead of "Bulky." :S Oops. But I decided to leave it up because it's appropriate for this week... and because I didn't want to spend an hour doing a different post! I hope you can visit.

Have a blessed New Year!
Mrs. Mecomber
Very cute and a great definition of bulky
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny, mom feels that way sometimes about words...I don't feel that way about meows. I need to get myself a pink Hello Kitty hat now...
ReplyDeleteEverything is bulky when you ski...hope you had fun!!
ReplyDeleteMine is up too: http://dailyreflectionsofmylife.blogspot.com/
Oh I love to do skiing this year haven't tried one. Love the hello kitty cap. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletePhotoHunter:Bulky
Skiing definitely lends it's self to the whole bulky theme.
ReplyDeleteGreat photograph, as always!!! Oh to be in the snow! And yes! I know exactly what you mean about using a word many times over in a short space of time - it DOES begin to sound strange - alien! Ann - made a post - FINALLY - about your latest, great art gift of Sammie at my blog. Thank you so much for this beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteHugs xo
Sammie and mom
Plenty bulky, plenty warm, plenty cute!!!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that? Cute job on the frames and edges and nice pics. Great take on the theme! I love all the different ways people can approach it.
ReplyDeleteDrop by and see mine here.
Such a sweet picture and we love the "hello kitty". Just think about the wonderful memory this trip will give your granddaughter in years to come.
