I had stretched out on the sofa.
I was watching some TV.
A cat curled up above me.
I wondered ~ who could it be?
I thought I'd pet this cat a bit.
From it's head down to it's toe.
Butt I didn't know which end was which,
so that's dangerous, you know!
I thought purrhaps I'd softly stroke.
From it's head down to it's toe.
Butt I didn't know which end was which,
so that's dangerous, you know!
I thought purrhaps I'd softly stroke.
Butt that had some risk, you see.
For if the wrong end, I were to poke.
That cat would swat at me!
Loved the picture and the poem - how true it is!!
ReplyDeleteHa Ha - Mom says that doesn't happen here, but she can see the reason for the confusion.
