SWEET SATURDAY and PHOTO HUNT: HEART

My Mom always kept a little box of keepsakes, those things that were special for her.  After she passed away in 2010, I came across that little box.  Among the mementos it held, were these two Valentine cards from 1944.  I was just three-months old then, my first Valentine's day.  The card on the left was from Mom to me, the card on the right was from my Dad.  The greeting cards of those times were often small, on delicate and lightweight papers.  Soft colors, gentle art.  And here, hearts.
My Heart Belongs To Daddy!  I've been keeping a close watch on Poppy Vic since he came home from the hospital.  He wasn't too happy when I jumped up on the bed to welcome him home and landed on his "heart".  I heard him say "oooooowwie"!  The doctor didn't work on his heart, but close to it.  So I am being very careful now.  Me, and Mags and the ZH are all taking good care of him.  The ZH said we have to help him recover.  I said all your purrs 'n' prayers are helping him a lot!
