Now we are seven ~ Maggy and Zoey ~ plus Cita, our "porch kitty" and her four babies.
It's now a regular thing, everyone here for breakfast, everyone here for dinner ...
often returning seeking a bedtime snack!
Three of the kits still scamper away when the door is opened. Not Cita though ... she now
hisses madly at me (protecting her young, no doubt, as this is not her normal behavior).
And not Smiley ... Smiley, the brave and the bold!
Zoey watches the "porch kitty family" at breakfast time.
Someone watches back ... not sure who.
I open the door, hopefully to photo them all ... but no!
It's run, run, run away.
Except for Smiley!
OMCats Well done to the mommy for this handsome young kitteh!
ReplyDeleteLots of love from Indigo and Malach
Great pictures. Love that Smiley. I bet the other three kittens will eventually get tamer. That is so neat that all of you are taking care of those kitties. That is mighty good stuff.
ReplyDeleteWe have a stray cat that is visiting us. Mommy has only seen it twice as she/he only comes after everyone has gone to bed. But it eats all the foods Mommy leaves for it. It is a silver tabby.
ReplyDeleteI love your header pic. you look like Pie O Near Wimmen.
ReplyDeleteAwww....Smiley is so cute!!!! We're glad the Porch Family is doing so well.

ReplyDeleteWith a name like Smiley, we can't help but think he has a purpose in not running away:) We hope it is working and making you all smile.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
So Smiley isn't afraid of you. Maybe Smiley could come have a talk with Micah cause he's scared of Percy.
ReplyDeleteSmiley is cute. Hopefully the other kits will get braver too. We are glad they are all doing well.

Oh such joy to hear they are getting food and thriving. xx
ReplyDeleteYeah! We are so happy they are being well taken care of.
ReplyDeleteMiracle goes crazy when she sees the outside kitties. This morning at 3:00 AM she started scratching on the glass of the patio door, over and over! I often wonder what she would do if I let her out, which will never happen. She is very brave indoors, lol.
