Caturday Art: these were really fun photoart images to work on and create ~ each was first turned from full color to sepia tone (saving a full color copy). The lorikeet was then silhouetted from the color copy and layered onto the sepia layer. On the sepia layer of each child (my infant grandson, and my granddaughter), I slightly blurred the backgrounds, but sharpened their hair a little. Lastly, a frame was made by piecing together the lorikeet's feathers; the frame was beveled and laid on top of the other two layers.
Both images also work for Photo Hunt: Colours.
Lorikeets are very colorful little birds!
Both were photographed (at different times) at the Brevard Zoo, Melbourne, FL.
We think that looks amazing!

Okay, see, we figured we'd find something really cool here :-) We are trying this after seeing it on Mr. Clooney's blog. Buuuutttt...it never occurred to us to tell how we fixed up our photo we used....hee-hee? Still, it's a lot of fun. We especially love the colors in your pictures. They are just great!
ReplyDeleteWe love your art. So pretty and deceptively easy to look at. But evidently quite a bit of work.
