KEEPING ONE EYE OPEN

When you take your nap in the bay window you can keep an eye on what's going on

in the neighborhood.  Nothing escapes my one-eye-open technique: 

the mailman (sorry, I mean mailperson), FedEx, UPS, dog walkers, walkers without dogs (why?), kids on bikes,
bunny rabbits ~ they drive me crazy, squirrels ~ they drive me crazy, too! 

And there are always birds, oh yeah, lots of birds all over, especially the day after the grass gets

mowed.  I guess they're looking for little insects 'n' such, food, you know.

And yes, I jump up and bark, a lot, at the rabbits and squirrels and birds ... 

oh, and those deer don't always stay in the backyard!  Sometimes they cross the street
so sometimes they come through the front yard! 
But they're smart, they look both ways!  The humans said they've

gotten really acclimatized to people and cars and everything.
Yes, it is nice to nap in the bay window.
There's always something to see if you keep an eye open.
