LOVIN' OUR LABRADOR

It turns out that woofies love sun puddles just as much as kitty cats do!  When I lived in Florida, I loved getting photos of Maggy and Zoey in patches of sunlight and our home there offered so many spots for this, and places with available natural lighting.  Here, the opportunities to photograph Dougie Dog in sunlight or natural light are rare, especially indoors.  Most windows have a north-south exposure so he is not often in a sun spot, though at this time of year the light is moving as the seasons are changing and so I recently captured him in light-and-shadow.  In most lighting one would think he was a black Lab, but in bright sun, it is easy to see his rich brown fur and of course, the beautiful golden topaz eyes.  A montage below.
