This was one of those times when we kept playing with filter upon filter, color upon color, so by the
time we came to "liking" the image had no idea how it was actually achieved!
I do recall though using one filter in particular (in Adobe Photoshop CC) which is called SATIN.
It allows you to curve, stretch, shape and in many different ways "alter" the shadowing you're placing
onto (not outside) an image. It's a really amazing tool and once you've applied it,
you can lighten or darken it, and change it to any color of your choice as well. A blue satin shadow
was layered on Zoey, and a red satin shadow was layered on Dougie Dog.
