"feed the birds, tuppence a bag ... "
Ever since setting up a dedicated bird haven area in our backyard last spring, it's been such a joy
to watch our winged friends come and go. Many are regulars, others visit never to be
seen again. Photographing them is not easy ~ my camera has limitations, and of course, they
are easily startled. Here, the blue jays ~ big, raucous, blue and beautiful!
Top: just framing of a basic photo.
Middle and bottom: photoshopped and framed "artsy" renditions of them.
Today, we're showing off our "jays" at Caturday Art
sponsored by Athena and Marie, Athena Cat Goddess.
Great pictures. What fun to have the birds come visit.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty birdies! We do a suet feeder like that here too in the Wintertime. I try to chase them, but no wings/no catch. BOL

The art is lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt seems the blue jays don't show up in our yard until late summer. But when they do arrive, they're very hungry.
ReplyDeleteThat's very well done. We feed the birds too. I love watching them.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend. ♥
Beautiful art today, as always. The blue jay is a beautiful bird, but they are tough too. Mom remembers one time many moons ago getting divebombed by a whole flock of them in her backyard in Massachusetts. She scurried inside very quickly.
