There we were, WILSON and me, playing out in our "back forty", it was an almost "autumn day".
There are lots of little trees, and old and new crunchy leaves.
Then, suddenly ... WILSON disappeared!
He was just gone. Nowhere to be found! Even though I searched, leaf by leaf.
I lay down. I panted. I pondered.
I worried. I wondered.
WILSON?
I called for him, again and again and ...
WILSON? WILSON?
Grandma says the Wicked Witch of the North lives beyond the fence. I never
go there, I hope WILSON didn't go there ...
You know, I heard there's a new kid on the street, his name is PENN. Wonder if he'd like to play ...
Oh boy! Your blog is getting super spooky! Good thing we don't check it before we go to bed or we would have nightmares!

ReplyDeleteYipes! I hope you find your tennis ball!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Wilson just went in search of the Great Pumpkin in a neighbor's pumpkin patch. I bet he'll return by All Hallows Eve. In the meantime enjoy playing with a new pal. Tummy tickles.
